Step by step
- Open the LexisNexis freeze web address above.
- Choose 'Request a Security Freeze Online' and fill in the form.
- Phone option: call 1-800-456-1244.
- Mail option: LexisNexis Risk Solutions Consumer Center, Attn: Security Freeze, P.O. Box 105108, Atlanta, GA 30348-5108.
- After they check it is you, a confirmation letter comes by mail. Keep it.

Good to know
- The freeze applies only at LexisNexis. Companies you already do business with can still look at your file.
