Cut down on junk mail with DMAchoice
Many catalogs and charities mail you because of marketing lists. DMAchoice asks member companies to remove you.
This service charges its own fee (see Cost below). You don't need Free My ID to do it.

- Cost
- A small fee set by the site: $8 online (credit card or PayPal) or $9 by mail (check or money order payable to ANA). Either one covers a 10-year registration. You decide whether to pay.
- Time
- About 15 minutes online.
- Official site
- dmachoice.org
What to have ready
- Your name and mailing address
- A debit or credit card or PayPal (online) or a check or money order (by mail)
- An email address
Step by step
- Open the DMAchoice web address above and choose 'New user? Register'.
- Fill in your name and address. Choose the kinds of mail you want to stop.
- Pay the $8 fee on the site's own payment page. Check the web address bar says dmachoice.org first.
- Mail option: print the mail-in form from the site and send it with a $9 check or money order payable to ANA, to the address printed on the form.
- Give it a couple of months.
Opens dmachoice.org, the official website.
Good to know
- It does not stop mail from companies that are not members.
- Free My ID never pays for you. Pay only on dmachoice.org itself.
