How to remove yourself from Whitepages
Whitepages is a people-search site. Sites like this build listings from public records and purchased data, often with your address, age, phone number and relatives. Here's how to ask it to remove you, for free. You don't need Free My ID to do this.
What you'll need
- The web address of your listing on Whitepages (you find it by searching for yourself)
- A phone number the site can call or text with a code
Step by step
-
Search for yourself on Whitepages and open your listing.
-
Copy the web address of that listing.
-
Paste it on the removal page and press the button.
-
Whitepages phones you with a 4-digit code. This needs your OK to share a phone number.
-
Type the code. If you cannot, this one will need you to finish it yourself.
Allow about 2 days, then check again.
Open Whitepages's removal page
Opens www.whitepages.com, Whitepages's own website.
The Whitepages removal is also meant to cover: 411.com.
Or let Free My ID do it
Free My ID opens Whitepages's removal page in your own browser, with these steps beside it and a Copy button for each box. On sites that allow it, it can fill the boxes in while you watch. You tick any "I'm not a robot" box yourself. Then it checks again later, because sites can list people again.
