How to remove yourself from SearchPeopleFree
SearchPeopleFree is a people-search site. Sites like this build listings from public records and purchased data, often with your address, age, phone number and relatives. Here's how to ask it to remove you, for free. You don't need Free My ID to do this.
What you'll need
- Your name, as it shows on the listing
- An email address for removals (a separate one just for this is best)
- Opening the email SearchPeopleFree sends and clicking its link. If you skip this, the request may not go through.
- A picture puzzle ("I'm not a robot") you solve yourself
Step by step
-
Open the opt-out page and type your first name, last name and removal email.
-
Solve the picture puzzle (captcha) and press Begin removal process.
-
Open the email within 24 hours and click its link. You have 30 minutes after that.
-
Fill in the record details exactly as the site shows them.
-
Allow up to 3 days. This removes you from this site only.
Allow about 3 days, then check again.
Open SearchPeopleFree's removal page
Opens www.searchpeoplefree.com, SearchPeopleFree's own website.
Or let Free My ID do it
Free My ID opens SearchPeopleFree's removal page in your own browser, with these steps beside it and a Copy button for each box. On sites that allow it, it can fill the boxes in while you watch. You tick any "I'm not a robot" box yourself. Then it checks again later, because sites can list people again.
