How to remove yourself from Nuwber
Nuwber is a people-search site. Sites like this build listings from public records and purchased data, often with your address, age, phone number and relatives. Here's how to ask it to remove you, for free. You don't need Free My ID to do this.
What you'll need
- The web address of your listing on Nuwber (you find it by searching for yourself)
- An email address for removals (a separate one just for this is best)
- Opening the email Nuwber sends and clicking its link. If you skip this, the request may not go through.
Step by step
-
Search for yourself on Nuwber and open your listing.
-
Copy the web address of that listing.
-
Paste it on the removal page and type your removal email.
-
Open the email Nuwber sends and click its link.
Opens nuwber.com, Nuwber's own website.
Or let Free My ID do it
Free My ID opens Nuwber's removal page in your own browser, with these steps beside it and a Copy button for each box. On sites that allow it, it can fill the boxes in while you watch. You tick any "I'm not a robot" box yourself. Then it checks again later, because sites can list people again.
