How to remove yourself from Acxiom

Acxiom is a data company listed on California's data broker registry. Here's how to ask it to remove you, for free. You don't need Free My ID to do this.

What you'll need

Step by step

  1. Open the opt-out page and choose 'US individual - opt out request'.

  2. Type your name and removal email, then send.

  3. Open the email Acxiom sends and click its link.

  4. To see or delete your data, use the form linked from their privacy page instead.

  5. Opting out does not call back data already given to advertisers.

Allow about 14 days, then check again.

Open Acxiom's removal page

Opens www.acxiom.com, Acxiom's own website.

Or let Free My ID do it

Free My ID opens Acxiom's removal page in your own browser, with these steps beside it and a Copy button for each box. On sites that allow it, it can fill the boxes in while you watch. You tick any "I'm not a robot" box yourself. Then it checks again later, because sites can list people again.
